It’s Been A While, Sorry
Posted on 13. May, 2010 by admin in Business plan, Coaching, General, niche blogs
Seems like I’m not doing a good job keeping up with my blog here, and I’m sorry about that. That’s not what’s supposed to happen. Maybe it’s because, just like Webcareergirl I got a bit carried away from what this blog is supposed to be. It’s not supposed to be as much as an information blog as it’s supposed to be a blog about what I’m achieving in my life and work. And I think it’s time to get back to that.
One of the things I want to tell you about is a new business venture I’m working on: coaching. I had someone ask me if I could teach him how to create the blogs I make that I sell on flippa. So I told him yes. For now, this is one on one coaching and I have two students. As it’s one on one, it’s not cheap at all, but it gave me a new idea I want to try out: coaching classes. In June I will do my first one. It will not be geared towards building blogs that you sell, it will be initially about creating WordPress blogs, either for yourself or for others. It’s an interesting idea and I even already have someone that is interested in the class and I’m not talking about a newbie internet marketeer either. He has a lot of internet marketing experience, just not with WordPress. Talking about making me nervous for my first try
Today I start following a coaching class myself. Coaching on Adsense. I want to expand my adsense income, as with the niche blogs I have it’s not that bad, but I’m thinking that, if I can build a few sites really geared towards adsense that I will get a nice extra boost. The class will work with html-sites, but I’m planning on doing a few with html and a few with WordPress. Then I’ll see which ones do best and I’ll keep working with the ones that get indexed fast and start with a high ranking without any promotion.
Another idea I have in the works is a membership site. I’ll be building niche blogs and sell them as plr sites (so without the domainname). If I want to get started with that, I want to have at least two months of sites ready. I’m planning on doing 4 sites a month, so I will need 8 sites to get started. Once I get to that I will be able to start with it and keep up with adding new blogs.
A second membership idea I got from a friend is closely related to the first one. But instead of selling PLR blogs, members would have the opportunity to get unique blogs. They will only need to provide the domainnames and keywords they want to target and that’s it. I’m thinking of having a 10 members maximum, and each will have the ability to get 2 blogs a month. That would be 20 blogs I need to create for that each month, and I think that’s a number I can easily do. I’m thinking of hiring someone to do basic wordpress blog set ups, so that would make things easier for me, seeing I would only need to take care of the details.
As you see, a lot of new ideas to work with. If all goes well, my plr membership site will go life in July or August. I’ll keep you guys up to date about it.

I’m sure your coaching idea is going to go very well. That last membership idea sounds very interesting. After all there are lots of internet marketers who make sites constantly month after month so it could well be a good offer for them!

I’m hoping it does, Ruth. I’m a bit afraid that I won’t get any students, besides the one I already have LOL
In regards to the second membership site, I’m still working everything out. Am I going to go for different styles, or will they only have the choice of one basic theme (with customization of course). Those are things I need to figure out first, before I start it.

Hi David,
Are you talking about the adsense class I’m following, or my own WordPress class I’ll be teaching soon?

Hi Leslie – good to see that you’re still busy and coming up with great ideas. I think your membership ideas are good ones. I’ve just launched one myself around traffic generation – I have four weeks of training loaded up and ready to go so now I have to be brave and launch it!

Hi Clare,
I can only tell you one thing: just do it
You won’t regret it, I promise. I’m a bit the same about my coaching, but my WSO on that will go live on Monday, scared or not
